Relaunching one of the worlds largest professional networks.

Senior UI Designer.

Lauren Pleydell-Pearce (CD).

EY is one of the worlds largest professional services & accounting firms, with 250,000 employees in over 700 offices around 150 countries. Their purpose is to 'build a better working world'. The insights and services they provide help to create long-term value for clients, people and society, and to build trust in the capital markets.

01 /

Building a better working world, requires a better working website.

EY deliver industry leading insights and articles that serve as a hub spanning four integrated service lines — Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions & Tax. Over time their deep sector knowledge was being sold short by a digital platform that had become dated, and a user experience lacked the clarity and engagement to highlight the valuable features and services on offer.

The goal was to rebuild a digital experience that would not only guide users through an ocean of content, but surface the most current and relevant insights at each step on the journey. The result was a robust platform that matched the value of EY's service.

Main objectives

01 / Create a distinctive and clean UI system.

02 / Ensure that clear navigation and discovery are at the forefront of the experience.

03 / Identify opportunities to create modules that elevate the experience .

Flexibility is key  /
We ensured that key content grids had enough variation within its modules to ensure that landing pages could be updated regularly through the CMS.
Interactive tools  /
Motion and subtle interactive behaviours peppered throughout the experience help to hero key insights and encourage user discovery.
